Secondary Level Mathematics
I specialise in teaching Junior and Leaving Certificate Mathematics for the students under the Irish Education System. I also tutor GCSE and International Baccalaureate students.
I teach a range of University level Mathematics courses including Calculus, Linear Algebra and Statistics. I am particularly experienced with Statistics programs for Psychology students.
University Mathematics
I have guided several students through the data analytics portion for both bachelor and masters theses, using tools like SPSS, R, and Jamovi. I can aid with data cleaning, statistical test selection and analysis.

About me
My name is Keith. I’m Irish and have been based in Lisbon since 2022, where I live with my partner Carol and our dog Peter. I previously lived in Groningen in the north of the Netherlands, where I completed my Mathematics degree at the University of Groningen.
I’ve spent several years tutoring students at both secondary and university level. My experience ranges from Irish Junior and Leaving Certificate maths to university mathematics, statistics, and support with data-focused theses. I’m comfortable adapting to different courses and helping students build confidence, clarity, and strong problem-solving skills.
Alongside mathematics, I also coach chess. I started playing in 2018 and have achieved a peak online rating above 2000, placing me in the top 3% of online players.
I love to teach, bring positive energy to my classes, and adapt quickly to different courses and student needs.
